This project was out first introduction to printmaking. The brief was 'One in a Million' in which we had to pick a unique object and create a series of prints that documented it in some way.
I picked the statue of St. John of Nepomuk, located in Prague. The dog in the statue glows golden from the constant touches of passers by, who believe that petting the dog could bring forgiveness, fortune and long-lasting loyal relationships.
My final piece is a tri-fold narrative on how people are connected through their dogs.
The first image is of the initial design and the following images are of the developed, final product.
